Sash Styling for the Perfect Bridal Accessory

We love styling our beautiful Haute Brides as much as we love designing the perfect wedding accessories - when it comes to the most versatile bridal accessory, we would have to pick a sash! We believe that there’s a belt that can add a little something to every wedding dress, from lace, embroidery, crystals, or clay flowers!

Adding a sash can be one of the easiest ways to add a finishing touch to a bridal gown! It can hide a waist seam, tie together the bodice and the skirt, and add a touch of sparkle! As a bonus, the cinching effect of a sash naturally draws the eye to the narrowest part of the waist, creating an extra flattering silhouette. We love these gorgeous bridal looks from real brides and inspiration shoots - and the red carpet - that added the perfect finishing touch with our hand crafted sashes!

Fine Art Bride Styling

We had so much fun helping  New Favorite Day Event Planning put together this fine art bride look, and could not be more stunned by the gorgeous inspiration shoot she put together! The lovely palette of emerald and jade is a nod to the heritage of San Francisco, and we love the effortless Bay Area style that she incorporated into this mix of luxe and organic decor!

We approach styling an inspiration shoot the same way we approach consulting with one of our brides - who is she and what is she looking for? In this case, our 'bride' envisioned something romantic, flowing, and with a slightly non-traditional edge. The Style 8710 from Jim Hjelm by Hayley Paige has been a favorite with our Haute Brides and perfectly fit the bill for this lovely inspiration! We wanted to keep the luxe and organic vibe when it came to her accessories, and had the best time playing with our hand crafted bridal jewelry to find the perfect fit!

We picked our T1017, a gold headpiece with crystal vines, porcelain flowers, and glittering crystals as the perfect showpiece to pair with a wedding dress adorned in gorgeous floral lace! The slightly whimsical lines of the tiara were a gorgeous match for the natural flower arrangements designed by Milsom and Bloom, and we love how Makeup by Quis used it to accent the bride's romantic chignon! The swept back hairstyle showcased our EC640 crystal drop earrings beautifully, for a hint of sparkle! The illusion neckline and lace cap sleeves needed no necklace, so we finished off the look with our RB1009 crystal belt!
