FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We are thrilled that you have chose Haute Bride to visit for your special day! Below are some frequently asked questions by brides that we thought would be helpful for you to know before you visit!

Q. This is my first time trying on gowns. How many guests should I bring with me? How long are your appointments?

We know it's hard to limit the number of friends and family members who want to be a part of this process but remember, your experience will most likely be more enjoyable if you narrow the list down. On the weekends, our appointment times are one hour. You should know by half way through your appointment what style of gown you are liking. We would never rush you, so we always welcome the opportunity for longer appointments during the week days.

Q. What is the price range of your gowns?

We have over 10 bridal gown designers, and the prices range between $1700-$7000. The average price of our gowns is approximately $2500-$3500.

Q. What is the turnaround time for ordering a new bridal gown?

Most of our designers require a 16-20 week lead time. We do have a few designers who offer a quicker lead time, and rush options are always available with approval from the designer. To allow a comfortable amount of time, we think six months is necessary.

Q. Do you have custom bridal gowns?

Many bridal gown designers use bridal sizing charts when being fitted for a gown. We do have 2 different designers who offer custom made to measure gowns. Additional costs may apply depending on the designer.

Q. What is a trunk show?

A trunk show is when a designer sends in their latest collection of bridal gowns. Although we do have many dresses to try on at Haute Bride from each designer, the entire collection is not always available at our boutique.  It's a great opportunity to see the entire line, meet the designer (if they are scheduled to come), and also to take advantage of discounts and incentives being offered that weekend.

Q: What sizes are the gowns that you sample at Haute Bride?

Most of the samples in our boutique are a bridal size 12. This is a recommended size from the designer, as it allows different shapes and sizes of brides to try on. We do know that it can be hard to envision yourself in a dress that does not fit you- we do have clips and fabric inserts to help with the process. We do stock a handful of size 14-18 gowns as well.

Q: Can we bring champagne?

Yes, we don't mind if you want to bring bubbly! We have glasses on hand for you. We just ask that you leave all coffee and food outside.

Anything else? Please feel free to email us! We look forward to seeing you!
